Fashion has its books. Watches, architecture, cars, wine: every discipline worth caring about has its definitive volume, its shelf of monographs. Dogs, who share our homes, our beds, our lives, had nothing worthy of them.

The Dog Book started there.

Each title is built as an object first, a book second: commissioned photography, cloth-bound hardcover, heavy stock, a rigid slipcase wrapped in a macro photograph of the breed's coat. Every element made to outlast its owner.

Each breed gets its own volume, its own color, its own visual language.

These aren't books about dogs. They're portraits of icons, finally given a form that does them justice.
